New years 100km challenge

Hi All,

Well done to the team for completing their last formal session before State Championships. Collectively this morning was the best the group has looked and you still have 48 hours of rest to freshen up some more.
Post states, as I mentioned during the team meeting, we are looking at doing a 100km challenge. A lot of the swimmers have asked about doing a hell week and I think this a good way to gain that sense of achievement whilst still having some fun and enjoying the festive season with your families. The challenge will involve later morning sessions (so we can sleep in a bit), wet bootcamps, a beach session and of course, lots of swimming.
For those who cannot commit to the challenge, that is fine, you can just join in. For those who are up to the challenge, the sessions will add up to exactly 100km, so let me know and I will make sure you swim every lap (you don’t want to go 99.9km).
For the parents I have put this post public with the planned timetable so you check it out and flag any potential problems and we can work out a solution for those swimmers who want to take up the challenge.
